About

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2010 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The major thrust in this course is related to the basic principles and detailed analysis of different types of equipment and systems for generation transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy. The course also covers the study of electronic devices and circuits involved in measurement, instrumentation, control and protection of electrical equipments and conversion systems. Concepts of Computer and recent applications of computer based systems in design,analysis and efficient operation of power system maintaining quality and security also included in the course.

The faculty always strives for imparting better knowledge to the students, works as a team in all the department activities and never compromise on quality and standard of teaching. The Laboratories are well equipped not only to cater to the needs of carrying out experiments in various subjects but also to carry out research work. The department regularly organizes industrial visits, Technical lectures by experts from industries and institutes in contemporary areas to bridge the gap between syllabi and current developments.
